Your eye had a built‑in filter for 60 years

Cataract surgery took it out. Nobody mentioned it.

Before surgery the natural lens filters the 445nm headlight spike. After surgery the clear replacement lens lets it through.

The GlareCut™ Spike Filter

It does the job your natural lens did for decades. It's tuned to the blue that LED headlights put out, so oncoming cars stop turning into starbursts.

Tuned to 445–455nm.

That's the narrow band where LED headlights peak, the same band your old lens used to absorb.

90% of other light passes through.

The road stays bright. Lane lines and signs stay easy to read.

Fits over your glasses.

Slides on over prescriptions, bifocals, and progressives, with no appointment or new prescription.

Built for drivers who aren't ready to give up the night.
The drive home from dinner, back to normal.

Oncoming LEDs stay bright but stop bursting across your windshield.

Rain at night, back on the table.

Wet roads bounce headlight glare back at you. GlareCut filters that same blue band off the road too.

Stop asking for rides after dark.

Book club, the pharmacy, a grandkid's evening game. You pick the time instead of the sunset.

Ready the first night.

Put them on in the driveway and compare the first few headlights yourself.

Thomas H. wearing GlareCut glasses
★★★★★Thomas H., 67

"Post cataract surgery I thought night driving was gone forever. Saw three different eye doctors and none had answers. These glasses were the answer. Unbelievable difference."

Dorothy R. wearing GlareCut glasses in her car
★★★★★Dorothy R., 73

"Had cataract surgery two years ago and headlight glare became unbearable. My surgeon told me the surgery was perfect. He wasn't lying, but nobody could tell me why it got worse. These gave me my nights back."

Margaret W. wearing GlareCut glasses
★★★★★Margaret W., 69

"I drove home from book club in the dark for the first time in three years. Nobody told me the surgery would take away the one thing protecting my eyes from modern headlights."

Carol S. wearing GlareCut glasses
★★★★★Carol S., 74

"I was skeptical. I'd already spent over $600 on glasses that did nothing. After surgery I didn't even need prescription glasses anymore, so I assumed these wouldn't work for me. Night driving went from terrifying to completely manageable."

FAQ
How are these different from yellow drugstore glasses?

They look alike, since any lens that blocks blue looks amber. A drugstore tint darkens all the light. GlareCut is tuned to the narrow band of blue that LED headlights put out, and most other light passes through.

The same truck headlights through a yellow visor, a drugstore pair, and GlareCut
My eye doctor said night driving glasses don't work.

That warning is about plain yellow tints that dim the whole road, and it's a fair one. GlareCut is built around one narrow band of LED blue. Ask your doctor about that, and use the 30 nights to test them on your own roads.

Will they fit over my glasses?

Yes. They're built to go over prescription glasses, bifocals, progressives, and readers. The frame is lightweight polycarbonate.

GlareCut fit-over pair with prescription glasses inside
I don't wear glasses anymore after surgery. Will these still work?

Yes. Wear them on their own. No prescription needed.

Do they help when it rains?

Wet roads bounce headlights back at you, so rain adds glare. GlareCut filters the same blue band whether it comes straight from a headlight or off the wet road.

I have a multifocal lens. Will these help?

Multifocal lenses can add rings around lights. Those come from the lens design, and no filter removes them. GlareCut targets the blue glare and starbursts from LED headlights. You get 30 nights to see if that's the part bothering you.

What if they don't work for me?

I was told my cataract surgery went perfectly, but headlights still looked awful. These glasses made me feel like someone finally understood the actual issue.

I drove at night for the first time in two years without calling my son to pick me up. That alone makes them worth it.

The glare from oncoming cars used to spread across my windshield. With these, the lights look contained. That is the best way I can describe it.

The glare reduction is very noticeable without making everything too dark. I have tried several night driving glasses and most just dim the road. These feel more balanced.

Night driving after cataract surgery was the only thing that still felt wrong. These glasses helped more than changing my prescription.

My daughter bought these for me because I kept asking her to drive me home after dinner. I did not expect much, but they really do soften the bright headlights.
